Abstract Form

Delegates are encouraged to submit abstracts for short Oral Presentations. Presentations times will be limited to 12 minutes, with 3 minutes available for questions at the end of the presentation. Prepare and practice your presentation to conform to this time allotment. In fairness to all presenters... Presentation times will be strictly enforced.


Deadline for Oral Abstract Submission

July 15, 2002

· All oral presentation allotment times have been selected.  No further oral presentations will be accepted.


Oral Presentations will be posted August 15, 2002

Instructions

Due to the limited presentation times available, Oral Presentations will be selected based upon abstract content. Prepare your paper accordingly. Oral Presenters will be notified prior to August 9, 2002. Those delegates not selected for an Oral Presentation are highly encouraged to submit a Poster Presentation.

Abstracts will be published as submitted. Presenters must edit papers for publication.

AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT - There are two (2) options for visual presentation:

1) Single 35mm Projection.... Or,

2) PowerPoint digital presentation.

 

The criteria for PowerPoint digital presentations are as follows:

1) Maximum file size for PowerPoint presentations will be limited (instructions to follow).

2) Presenter must format presentation file on PC computer... Not Apple.

3) Presenter must make two (2) copies of their PowerPoint presentation on CD disk.

4) Presenter must submit one (1) CD to conference office no later than Sept. 25. 2002. Absolutely.... NO EXCEPTIONS. See below for mailing instructions.

5) All PowerPoint presentations will be loaded on our conference laptops to ensure a smooth transition from one presentation to the next. This will eliminate any down time. Presenters will not be allowed to use their personal laptop to present.

6) Presenters must bring a CD backup of presentation to conference site, and laptop computer, if they intend to edit their presentation at conference site.

Those presenters who select to present by PowerPoint digital presentation, must submit their CD to the following conference administration office, prior to Sept. 25, 2002:
