Delegates are encouraged to submit abstracts for Poster Presentations. All posters related to Session Topics will be accepted. Posters may be submitted for Research Poster Competition, provided they meet qualification criteria.

Printing deadline for Conference Program Book is August 15, 2002.  Any poster abstracts received after this date will not be printed in Conference Program Book

Poster Instructions

All posters related to Session Topics will be accepted and published in our Conference Program Book (to be distributed to conference delegates, at conference site).  Abstracts will be published as submitted. Presenters must edit their papers for publication.  Presenters may submit posters for Research Poster Competition.  See criteria below to qualify for Research Poster Competition.

Research Poster Competition

Criteria- Research posters must include original research with appropriate literature review, definition of problem or purpose of research, criteria to justify the material and procedures, results, summary, and decision. Case presentations are not considered for Research Poster Competition. Competitors must mark the appropriate box (on abstract form) when submitting abstract for consideration. Awards will be presented.

1st Place- $1,500     2nd Place- $1,000     3rd Place- $500
Awards will be presented at our Congress Banquet (Friday, Oct. 4th)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING POSTER and ORAL ABSTRACTS

1. Type in English. Abstracts will be published as presented. No attempt will be made to edit the author’s abstract. Proof and edit your paper.

2. Type presenter’s name (Family Name, Initials) followed by an asterisk (*).

    Type Co-author/s name/s (Family Name, Initials).

    Type Institution and Department of presenter.

    Type city and country.

3. Type title of abstract (15 words or less). Capitalize first letter of each word.

4. Type abstract in box provided (350 words or less). Use entire width of box.

5. Use a BLACK ink pen to add symbols not found on typewriter.

Abstracts will be published as submitted. Presenters must edit their papers for publication
