International Society for Maxillofacial
Rehabilitation |

The International Congress of Maxillofacial Prosthetics
has changed its name to the International Society for Maxillofacial
Rehabilitation. This change reflects our interest in expanding membership
to include not only prosthodontists, but also all allied personal whose work
concerns the rehabilitation of maxillofacial patients. Through the support of
its members and private donations, the Society seeks to promote this
scientific field to encompass continued educational programs, research, and
patient services. International conferences and scholar exchanges will promote
maxillofacial rehabilitation and laboratory technology to other colleagues
around the world. Biennial Society meetings are organized on a global basis,
providing exposure to many countries that are just beginning to develop
maxillofacial expertise in cancer therapy, surgical, radiation, and medical
oncology. The Society is presently introducing "Outreach" programs
in the disciplines of maxillofacial techniques so that we may assist with
establishing rehabilitation programs, improving the art of maxillofacial
rehabilitation and enhancing the quality of life around the world.
The International Society for Maxillofacial
Rehabilitation is working to
advance the specialty of maxillofacial rehabilitation throughout the world. It can only do so
with your active participation. If you would like to participate, submit:...
